Here is an antique religious shadow sick or call box dating from around 1900. Has an oak wood frame and features a reverse painted glass window with a statue of Mary and Jesus. Has a print depiction under glass of the Last Supper on the door below that opens. Inside is a booklet titled The Holy Name Alter AND Sick Call Outfit, also has a 5" wide metal tray (there is a tarnish stain on tray). There are two brass candle holders mounted to the side of box next to the door. It measures 13 1/2" wide x 23 1/4" high x 4 1/4" deep (including door). There is some losses to interior side paper decoration inside the storage compartment, otherwise it is in VERY FINE condition with NO chips, breaks, or cracks, and is ready to hang.
