SquareTrade © AP6.0 Hand Painted Cased Glass Electric Mantle Candle Lustre Table Lamp with Prisms Description: This listing is for a mantle luster design electric table lamp in perfect condition. Lamp metal pieces are brass finished with no dents or green spots on the metal. The lower base is a round column or step with pressed filigree designs on the side. Above this base step is a raised plateau with four curved fish as feet. The white opaline satin glass section is 10 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter at the scalloped cut rim. The hand painted flower decoration with gold and enamel is in mint condition. There is minimal wear to the hand painted gold lines. There are no chips or cracks anywhere. The lamp measures 14 inches tall overall with a 7 1/8 inch diameter base. The bulb socket is marked Leviton. The 8 matching cut cristal prisms each measure 4.25 inches long. They're in great condition with only a few having very minor chips at the exact end of the bottom points. It uses 2 light bulbs. One standard bulb in the top and a small night light sized bulp in the lighted base. The base is lit at all times other than the one switch position for the top bulb only. The 3 switch positions are bottom bulb only, top bulb only and both bulbs. Lamp has a brand new 6 foot gold toned cord and white plug. No repairs or restorations other than wiring. There are no cracks, splits, or repairs on any of the metal parts. It's complete and in well preserved condition. We don't know the maker or age as it isn't marked. It is Victorian in style but much newer in age. Any damage mentioned is for accuracy only and doesn't detract from the beauty of this vintage lamp.
