Has twist on/off switch. Takes 1 standard light bulb (max watt is unknown) for top. Bulb is not included. 15" Tall plus if you use the hurricane insert there is an added 1 1/2". Maximum width is 8 1/2". Works great. Top is in excellent condition. Bottom portion has some thin fissure type lines at the top where it meets the metal attachment. Brass base has some tarnishing.
