The box had never been opened prior to checking to be certain candles work properly (they do!!). Please note that the box is nothing fancy – plain brown cardboard. Each Candle operates on 3 AA Batteries (NOT included). The Candles are a soft ivory color. Very elegant! They would look great in any window or room including on the Dining Room table. Tighten the base to turn on the candle. Very realistic flickering light. The candle will stay lit for 6 hours then turn off automatically (unless you loosen the bottom), and then turn on again the next evening at the same time!!! Total height is 14”, Candle is 9 ½ inches, flame is 1 ¾ inches, Candle Holder is 2 ¾ inches. The base of the Candle Holder is 3 inches by 2 inches. The Candle Holder seems to be faux brass, weighted, and with a green felt bottom.
