This particular auction is for: one wooden Flute, 11 inches long Condition: New ** The Characters for Abundance, Happiness, Luck are painted on one end of the Flute in Gold History of Flutes: The Flute has been around for thousands of years in many different cultures. In each instance, the Flute has represented positive energy, in one form or another. The most popular uses of the Flute in energy work today are in Wicca and in Feng Shui. In Wicca: Used to raise energy during rituals. One can hang it above one’s altar to increase the positive energy of the ritual being performed. One can also play the flute--as the music of a flute is believed to bring in positive forces. In Feng Shui: Feng Shui has been around for eons. It is based upon the belief that positive energy in one’s life can be enhanced by using the flow of energy in a positive manner. The flow of energy is affected by many things, including the placement of certain objects in one’s house. The flute is one of those objects. The flute is actually one of the more powerful “cures” in Feng Shui (a cure is the movement of an object to promote positive “chi” . Chi is the word for “energy”). To promote positive chi using a flute, one hangs the flute, mouth piece upward, at an angle, using a red tassle (or string, or ribbon). The Phoenix, a symbol of romance, love, and happiness, is said to be attracted by the flute. The most beneficial area to hang the flute is in the bedroom, or, if you are following one of the “traditions” of Feng Shui, you would place it in the proper corner or “gua.” You can also place it over the door for strength, peace, and power. Personally, I use the flute in several rooms--one of which is my prosperity gua--the area of my home that helps bring in extra money!! The cost of shipping includes the actual shipping price & the cost of the packaging. I also charge fifteen cents extra for gas/my time in taking your item to the post office. I ship twice a week: Tuesdays & Saturdays. The auction must be paid for within 7 days of the ending of the auction (I DO know that life occasionally "happens" & problems arise, so if this ends up being the case with you, please just communicate with me :) I only accept paypal at this time. If you receive your purchase & find you are not happy, feel free to email me within 3 days of receiving the item & we can try to make arrangements to get you satisfied. Your item will be package with care, with very limited possibility of damage or becoming open in transit (there's nothing I dislike more than receiving a raggedy package from someone--it makes me think they just didn't care after they received their money!)
